1. Who we are

Songs of Us makes custom songs about the people you love. You can reach a person at hello@songsofus.com, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

2. What you're buying

You answer questions about someone, and we write and record an original song from your answers. Before you pay, we play you a short part of it for free. If you don't want it, you don't pay anything.

When you pay, you get the full recording, the words, and a private page for the song with their name on it. You can download the audio file and keep it.

3. Price and payment

The price is shown before you pay, including any sale discount. Payment is taken by our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card number.

Anything else we offer, like faster delivery or a memory video, shows its price before you pay for it.

4. When your song arrives

How fast the full song comes depends on the delivery you choose at checkout. Standard arrives within 24 hours, Priority arrives within 1 hour, VIP arrives within 15 minutes. The clock starts when your payment goes through.

5. Changes and refunds

If the song isn't right, reply to the delivery email and tell us what to change. We will rewrite and re-record it once, free of charge.

If you're still not happy after that rewrite, we will refund what you paid in full.

6. What you tell us

Only tell us things you have the right to share, and please don't send us anything hateful or threatening.

We use your answers to make your song and nothing else. Our privacy policy explains who sees them and how to have them deleted.

7. Using your song

The song is yours to enjoy and share. Play it at a party, a wedding or a service, give copies to family, and share it with the people it's about.

We won't publish your song or use it as an example without asking you first.

If you want to use it to make money, for example by putting it on a streaming service or in an ad, email us first.

8. The Keeper membership

The Keeper is an optional monthly membership. If you join, it costs $29 a month and carries on each month until you cancel.

When you join, we email you what it costs and a link that cancels it. That link keeps working, and canceling takes one tap.

9. Your account

Your songs are kept in your account, which you sign in to with your email. Keep access to that email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.
